Fear Gone Wild: A Story of Mental Illness, Suicide, and Hope Through Loss by Kayla Stocklein

Mental Illness has always been an important issue for me. I always felt that those with a mental illness have been tragically misunderstood. Even depression, in my opinion, often gets misunderstood by those who do not struggle with it. I especially see the misconceptions from the mainstream media. Its common to see a victim of mental illness being portrayed in a horror film, or the mental illness is fantasized in shows like 13 Reasons Why. Maybe reading this book will provide better insight on what it is like to struggle with mental illness and how it affects those around the mentally ill.
